1.1 Prices are subject to change without notification and are charged at the price set on the time and date of the order.

1.2 All goods remain the property of Dartfrog until all payments are made in full and are cleared by the banks.

1.3 Any cheque that has to be re-presented or is returned to us is subject to an administration charge of £15.00.

1.5 All breakages or damage to goods in transit, lost or missing items or packages must be reported to Dartfrog on receipt of the order. We will not be held responsible after 24 hours of receipt of the order.

1.6 For plants we can only guarantee arrival of healthy plants where the next day courier option delivery method is used as the Royal Mail postal service is unreliable and parcels can sometimes be in transit for up to 15 days even using 1st class post. We will not replace dead or damaged plants if the Royal Mail postal service is opted for. However, we reserve the right to offer a replacement plant(s) at 25% reduced cost.

1.7 Livestock being collected from us will have a 48 hour guarantee. Please note we cannot guarantee amphibians that are sent by courier or by any other means. In this case we reserve the right to replace amphibians that are DOA or die within 24 hours of receipt. There will be a £10 administration charge where any amphibians are replaced FOC or where a refund is offered. We will not deliver livestock during adverse weather conditions. We reserve the right to replace or refund any amphibians that die outside the initial 24 hour period. If granted, this again will be subject to a £10 administration charge. In addition we will require 50% towards the costs of delivery of replacement amphibians.

1.8 The charge for courier delivery services is subject to location, where the livestock is to be sent and time of expected arrival. As a guide the minimum charge is £15.00 for temperate species and £25.00 for tropical species. For further information please e-mail your requirements and we will quote you a definitive price. Normal parcel delivery will be free for any orders over £450. Delivery charges for orders over £450 requiring a courier (such as live amphibians) will be discounted by 50%.

1.9 We strongly recommend that amphibians are viewed before purchasing.

2.0 Collection of livestock is by appointment only, as not all listed species are maintained on the business premises. We fully encourage the collection of livestock.

2.1 We reserve the right to refuse the sale of livestock to a person(s) deemed, in our opinion, incapable of maintaining that animal in the correct environment with the correct husbandry.

2.2 We will reserve livestock for a maximum of 10 days on receipt of a 50% deposit. All deposits are non-refundable.

2.3 Payment must be made in advance unless you have a prior arrangement. Then all accounts must be settled within 7 days.

2.4 We accept all major credit/debit cards, cheques, cash (only valid for collection) and postal orders. Any accounts not settled within 28 days may be charged interest at 5% above bank rate. Any debt outstanding will be handed to our debt collection agent.
